Our range of Anti Allergy Beds from Sealy contain Smart Fibres Purotex® and Tencel®. The dual action of these two fibres reduces mould and moisture while keeping you cool and dry and are 100% natural.
The friendly bacteria in Purotex® neutralizes and cleans up 100% of dust mite allergens. Tencel® fibres are hydrophilic and optimize the absorption of moisture with excellent cooling properties leaving, the sleeping area dry and enhancing sleep.

Purotex® is a unique patented technology that works by releasing friendly bacteria into the fabric of the mattress to reduce mould and moisture, it is a 100% natural solution for a fresh, hygienic and dust-mite free mattress.
Purotex® has the following properties:
• Neutralizes & cleans up 100% of the dust mite allergens.
• De-hydrates the bed’s microclimate denying dust mites essential water and stops the growth of fungi.
• Suppresses noxious bacterial colonies with no bacterial immunity or antibiotic resistance.
Tencel® fibres help keep you cool and dry, they hydrophilic and optimize the absorption of moisture with excellent cooling properties.
When it comes to hygiene the inherent natural properties of Tencel do not give bacteria a change to grow without the use of chemicals.
